Can't believe that I haven't done this sooner. This unit works awesome. One thing to note is that this unit does not have an auto shut off. If you have kids you'll want that 'hold "on" while using feature. A cat could even theoretically switch this on and it would just keep spraying on the floor. About cold vs warm water. Remember if you don't flush first, or run the water in that bathroom the water in the pipes should be close to room temperature. It is a much simpler install without a hot water line so you make the call. INSTALL NOTE: The 10 min install is dependent on the existing water line being a flexible line::CHECK THIS AHEAD OF TIME. I did not....mine turned out to be a pre-bent solid line. Fortunately I had the tools in the limited skills, to cut the solid line and properly install the new Tee-valve. I would've preferred to have simply had a flexible line on hand to swap out . My only concern is, if the hard water we have here will clog the Jets and only time will tell. Otherwise I have no reservations about giving this a five star rating and I've already recommended it to multiple friends and family.

Got it for my husband, he uses it daily. His only complaint is the cold water but there's adapters you can buy if it's that big of a deal (we have not, he's apparently not that concerned). However, as a woman, DO NOT use this. I don't care what position you put yourself in, it is going to spray a little of the back side which could easily contaminate vaginal tissue and cause infections. I tried each setting, even straddled the toilet just to see, it's a no go.
Old people stink

I didn't know why old people smell but now that I'm old I now know why. I bought this bidet about a week ago and like it so much I've ordered another for our other bathroom.
As others have mentioned, you should buy the metal 3-way valve to control flow and be able to turn the water off completely if needed.
The other thing you need to know is that most plastic toilet seats have a flange that extends into the bowl that interferes with the bidet and will put pressure on the bidet when the seat is closed and will cause breakage if not addressed.
They sell bumpers to raise the front of the seat but these fell off in a couple of days. My fix was to raise the back of the seat at the hinge by placing three garden hose o-rings on each of the bolts.
This is life changing experience and you will never want to go without.

Ok folks...you who are reading this...think no further - BUY THIS PRODUCT - doesn't matter which series you choose for yourself! I bought two series - the Luxe Neo 185 Elite for my main toilet and the Neo 120 for my second toilet. This is and will be a life changing experience for you! The only word I have after using both series is "REFRESHING"! I wish I would have known about this product years ago. I'll never go without one again. Go ahead and give yourself a treat! BUY IT. This company's customer service is beyond the best. Do not return the item until you've reached out to their customer service department. They WILL take care of any questions, concerns, etc. I had a problem with the Luxe Metal - T adapter with Shut-off valve I purchased. It leaked. Customer service sent me another one along with the toilet seat bumper kit free of charge. An FYI...I used the plastic adapter that comes with the Bidet kit for my second toilet and it works great. Awesome company and awesome product. I bought a family member a Luxe Bidet as well....I highly recommend this product. GO FOR IT....
For those who are skeptical about bidets...

I'd wanted to try a bidet to save water and toilet paper (not to mention money), and this bidet is great for those who've never tried one. It's very easy to install and use. I would recommend some trial-and-error the first time to get familiar with positioning and to figure out if you need seat bumpers. Start with the lowest stream setting first!! The higher settings are probably better if you have low water pressure. The nozzle casing is pretty inconspicuous and the self-cleaning feature is nice. For humans who experience moon time, this bidet will be the best thing that ever happened. No more having to waste insane amounts of toilet paper. Overall an excellent purchase.
Now, for skeptical questions... Will it get everything off? Yes, even better than toilet paper. You can always turn the stream up if you're unsure. Won't it get all disgusting? No, the nozzle casing sits well back in the bowl and should not get unreasonably soiled. The self-cleaning feature helps, and you could use a mild disinfectant spray if you wish. Will guests be freaked out by it? Possibly. Just explain what it is. They'll probably figure it out on their own anyway or not care. Do I still need to buy toilet paper? That depends. Most still use it to dry off, but there are other methods of drying. I have found myself using less toilet paper. My toilet is weird, will this thing fit? Most likely. It's designed with movable plates to accommodate different seat configurations (and to prevent the seat from slipping). Two final notes... the teflon tape they provide is too cheaply made, so make sure to have your own on hand. And never, ever turn the stream on when the toilet is not in use!
