My 16-year-old dog passed away in November. The organization that works with the vet's office to do cremations also offers a paw print and will frame it for you in a very similar shadowbox, but they charge $40 for this service. Instead, I bought this frame which is far more reasonably priced and is every bit as nice as the one offered by Angel Pets. I have a photograph mounted on the left, and on the right, there was room for the paw print provided by my vet's office as well as her dog tag. It looks really nice and is a great keepsake that I am grateful to have. I gave the paw-print kit that comes with it to a friend, since I already had a paw print made.
I encourage anyone to consider buying this product. It's a sweet memento to have when I miss my dog (which is everyday).

Update: after several months, I have to add that the paw print mold does not adhere to the adhesive backing. I had to Crazy Glue it finally. But it still has "Attractive design with instructions particularly well written and easy to follow. However, it is important to trim as much hair as possible from the paw to get a clean impression on the foam mold. Saves lots of money to do this all yourself!"

Very easy and lovely. I prepared this a few months before my beloved Italian Greyhound passed. I had enough of the impression material to make two, just in case. My only issue was that the adhesive pad used for attaching the impression to the frame did not hold, so I had to use elmer's school glue, which has worked fine.

Had to say goodbye to my best friend of ten years yesterday. It was the hardest thing I ever had to do, and although nothing will ever make the pain go away, it was enormously helpful to put this beautiful display together - as soon as we get her ashes back her urn will sit beside this beautiful frame. Some of the dirt from her paw stuck into the impression, but that made it even more special to me. The kit comes with easy to follow instructions, and I even had enough of the material left over to make a second paw imprint that I will use as a Christmas ornament. I love this piece and recommend it to anyone trying to keep the memory alive of their beloved pets in a beautiful, meaningful way.

This frame looks lovely. I got it as a gift for my wife, and she absolutely loves it.
That said, making a print of our dog's paw was a total pain in the butt. I followed the instructions carefully, but it was a difficult process. Our dog is about the size of a lab, and she wasn't impressed with my efforts to make an impression of her paw. Then, the dirt from her foot looked hideous in the white "plaster".
You're supposed to wet the paw before trying to make the impression, but I'd suggest washing it as well as you can. Also, trim any extra hair from between the pads, because it will stick to the dough, which distorts it and ruins the impression.
So, after a long bit of work, I finally get the impression, but it was a struggle. The final product was worth it, but this was a bit more of a craft project than I was expecting.
