Just exactly what I was looking for! I tried every store and couldn't find one of these. My dad wanted to wash his veterans hat but was afraid it would loose it's shape. I told him these cap washers were around, then I couldn't find one. Then I found this one on Amazon and my dad was so happy!!!! He didn't want to mess up his favorite hat and now he can wash it without worrying. Good Price too!!

Never had a ballcap washer before, until someone told me to buy one for my husbands hats. Normally I would just stick them in the top of the dishwasher and then when I removed them I would have to find something to shape the hat. NOW...... They dry perfectly shaped, just like brand new! I'm going to be buying an extra and additional one for gifts of hat lovers!

hate having to buy new hats just because there wasn't a way to wash and refresh old ones. I placed mine in a dishwashing machine to ensure that it doesn't come loose, sprayed on some oxi-clean spray detergent or woolite before starting the cycle with NO air dry! leaving the hat to air dry in the ballcap buddy to ensure that the hat keeps its form while drying. haven't tried it in the washer yet, but by looking at the ballcap buddy its safe to say that it will hold up to a delicate cycle as STATED on the instructions.

Yes! I finally found one of these, which I had years ago and lost somewhere along the way. I have a few old hats I love but have gotten dirty and grungy. All I had to do was pop a cap in and throw it in my washing machine. Use gentle cycle on low with only the hat and no clothes. Take it out of the washer and let it set-dry inside the holder. After a few hours of drying you'll be all set. Now my old hats look (almost) as good as new!!! Now I'm glad I didn't toss them in the trash. This is a savior for old hats!!!

I've washed hats in the wash before to find it raggy and worn out after. I bought this with the intention of still using the washing machine but after reading reviews and the instructions, it seemed like a whole lot less work to use the dishwasher method so I gave it a whirl! Awesome! Hats come out like new, just need to pull them out of the dishwasher to dry.
