This fit my Lowrance Ghost 47" easily, and seems like it's built solid. You just need a couple tools like a drill, 10mm socket, and wrench to install.

Very nice fit for my Motorguide trolling motor. The only problem I have is that it could provide a better locking system for the mounted motor to avoid theft. It only supports a very small padlock. I know it's designed to easily remove the trolling motor, but I don't want to do that everyday. I use a supplemental cable lock to secure my trolling motor to the mount.

This product is just as described. It is easy to install and easy to use. We got a small jewelry padlock to lock the motor to the boat and have no problem with it. Definitely a good deal for the money.
This mount has to be installed properly for it to work right not just thrown on.

It's awesome I'm happy that I did some research before I just did a permanent mount. This is something that every fisherman shouldn't be without it's an easy on easy off while your busy looking for that lure in the store or just pad lock it and go about your business knowing that it will be there whenever you return someone should invent one for the outboard motor then I can rest easy at night knowing that my outboard motor will still be there when I wake up.
