It is great for improving trigger control

I use this every day and shoot at small targets I have placed in my house. The laser is adjustable to make it aligned with the sights. It is great for improving trigger control. If you squeeze the trigger the laser will not jump around. A couple of months after I purchased the pistol an internal part failed. I called LaserLyte and the could not have been more helpful. Thay repaired it at no charge and sent spare batteries as well. Speaking of batteries, as much as I shoot I have not had to replace the batteries since I bought it. I have recommended the pistol to others and they are also very happy with the product and the company.

Great product to practice daily. it will also help you to stop making silly mistakes. If you get lazy it will catch you as you will see what you did.
Great tool, but grip is nearly unusable.

This is a great training tool. I plan to pair it with some open-source training software and a webcam. The weight and size are good (would be nice if it were a bit heavier, like my S&W Shield), and the laser is nice and bright. It actually fits pretty well in my .45 Shield holster.
Why only 3 stars?
First, the grip on this is super skinny, front to back; unlike any pistol grip I've ever held. I'm looking for a way to add some length to it. I can't create good muscle-memory through training if I have to adjust my draw and handling to a really weird grip.
Second, button cell batteries? Really? There is a ton of room in this thing for more common batteries that will last longer. They could even have gone with a LiPo cell with USB charging at this price.
Overall, I'm okay with this purchase. I'm not sending it back, but I'm definitely going to have to modify the grip to be close to normal.
