Good fixture after first one arrived damaged
Andrew Simon✓ Verified Purchase•July 18, 2017
Puts out lots of good quality light and easy to install. First one arrived damaged but Amazon's great service got me a new one almost immediately. This light is intended to be mounted to a junction box, rather than have romex routed into the box like a typical t8 fixture. It didn't present a big issue in my installation. The cover to the fixture is a little fragile, but there should be no reason to ever remove it. Good fixture for a closet or utility room. Hope it lasts.
Simple but nice LED light

These are Nice LED lights for a garage, office or storage spaces. Very bright and easy to install. Amazing how far technology has come. Come on almost instantaneously. Have not noticed any flicker. These fixtures are very light. As other reviewers have noted the diffuser is kind of flimsy. Be careful when handling It so not to break it. But then once it's up you won't have to replace tube bulbs anymore. Now hoping they will last...
I just installed these lights in our laundry room and they are fantastic. Very nice

I am not sure why folks seem to have a problem with a "lag" when the light is turned on? Perhaps not wired correctly? I just installed these lights in our laundry room and they are fantastic. Very nice, bright light, easy to install. There is a very small lag when first turned on; maybe 1/2 a second. But that is typical for LEDs. The lag is no where near 2 or 3 seconds. I will be purchasing more for my garage.
Nice Fixture for Closets, Garage or Utility Area.

Lithonia is a well respected brand. I used this lamp (in 5000k) to replace a 2 light 40 watt fluorescent pan in a kitchen hood. It is lightweight and gives off more than ample light. It is a suitable replacement for a standard 2 light 32 or 40 watt strip light. It is most suitable for center mount on a standard 4" ceiling box, but the ends are plastic and can be drilled out for conduit entry or installation of a pull chain switch. I drilled one end for entry and used tie wraps to hold the wire up so they wouldn't show through the plastic lens. I would use this fixture again for closets, utility rooms, garages or basement areas. LED's are especially nice in cold areas where fluorescents tend to flicker until warm.
Good lights

Good light fixture for basic shop use. They are also great as they don't have a flourescent "flicker" issue when cold. I have a 4500 Lumen style in my barn and they are bright. For my shop these lower lumen style work better as they aren't too bright but do a great job. They are also very easy to mount and wire in place. Unlike my brighter Lumen lamps which have to be hardwired, this style has a short wiring pigtail. I just mounted a junction box next to each fixture and wired it accordingly. Simple.
