I'm a curvy girl. 5'2", 155 lbs. I wear a 36 DD bra.

I ordered an XL according to the size chart for my measurements.

Mercy!!! There was no way of keeping the "Girls" harnessed! Thankfully, I wore an elasticized collared dress underneath. I had that corset cinched up as good as I could in order to maintain a level of comfort so that I could still breathe and bend over ... It was no enough!

I ended up having TWO friends cinch me up in order to keep my breasts in tact and even then, I resorted to the ribbons in the front that are tied into a bow, to come to the rescue. I ended up tying them up around my neck. I felt like I was in a straight jacket but ... everything stayed in place like nice little girls ... I mean BIG GIRLS. I suppose I could have worn a bra underneath, but I chose not too because I wanted my shoulders bare. I was going for a look, you see.

It really is such a beautiful corset! I love, LOVE the zipper feature because believe me, when the event was over and I dropped my character, I unzipped that puppy and felt the relief of breath! I could finally breathe.

I don't know if all corsets will fit me like this one because this is the first one I've ever worn, but this one really didn't cut it for me. However, I will put it on again and again because it is beautiful and it suited my costume perfectly!

I bought this corset for a costume to fit over a dress. I am a size 10, curvy 36 c, small waist big hips. I normally wear a medium, so I ordered a large. It was too small. no big deal, I sent it back and got a refund. I then purchased an XL. It arrived and it really is an awesome corset and fits great. What I love is that the red color is not a cheap orange red, but a understated darker red. I love the zipper in front that may not be appealing to some, but the long ribbons from the top cover it to some degree. I love the fact that I can zip it up and I don't have to fuss with tiny hooks, etc. this is a sturdy corset, but don't push it..just order the proper size....don't overfill it and it should hold up fine . This is not a $200.00 high end corset, but it's no tacky cheap costume corset either. The fabric is firm, as is the corset. No cheap stretchy costume fabric, like I said very firm. I like the modest panel, too. Can't beat the price. I plan on ordering more from this company. On a side note; some corsets and costumes that I have ordered off amazon have a putrid chemical smell. This did not. There was a faint smell of newness to it, but I set it outside for the day, and it's just fine now. I really like it and glad I ordered a larger size the second time around.

Purchased for cosplay and it worked good. Definitely not a high end corset but it served it's purpose and i'll be able to use it again. Definitely runs small. I originally purchased the XXL keeping in mind what people said about it running small but while I was able to get into it the boning was placed oddly and it did not look good. Luckily I was able to exchange it and get the XXXL which worked much better. Just to give an idea, I'm a busty largish figure with 35" waist and 44" bust.
Material: Nice material, though the front stays/hooks are a bit hard to manage. Much easier to have someone helping to get in and out off. The boning is some plastic material.
Wear: I wore the corset for 9 hours (had to undue while driving) and it wore fairly good. Had to adjust the back lacing twice during the day but was easy with help. The plastic boning held up okay but bowed slightly in the midsection as the day went so it did not keep perfect shape. However I am larger and for the price it did great.
Overall I would say it is a good costume piece but would not rec it for a larger person looking for extended wear who wishes to shape their body.

Let me preface this by saying I was choosing between a Small and Medium for a long time and I went with SMALL and it was the RIGHT decision.

I often wear medium and I often wear small across a wide variety of clothing because I am very lean BUT I am also 6'1". Usually I would go with a medium for fear of the garment being too short on me, but for this, that was not an important issue, so I got a small. After I ordered (and before it delivered) I read all these reviews saying "GET THE NEXT SIZE UP" and became VERY worried because, if the small was as small as everyone is saying it is, I thought there was no way I could fit it given my height and consequential size. BOY WAS I WRONG. This is a TRUE size small, no smaller, no larger. If I had bought a medium I would be swimming in it. With this one laced up all the way, the back is almost completely closed, so there is definitely room for me to have a bigger waist and bust by at least 2 inches each. By the way - it looks GREAT. You are getting EXACTLY what they're advertising. Very solid structure, very legit-looking material, perfect for a halloween costume or whatever you're using it for. I do have some worries about the ribbons - they endure a lot of tension and do not seem that strong. I wouldn't trust this corset to last very long if you intend to use it frequently.

So, in summary, I will not speak to the accuracy of the sizing chart, I will only say that I am lean, what you would call "ruler-shaped," and over six feet tall and the SMALL is the right size for me. So take from that what you will. And DEFINITELY get this, it is so so worth the money, I would have bought it for $40 retail hands-down.

i got this in the mail 2 weeks before expected! so im very pleased with that. very light smell of plastic that a night out to air will fix. the quality is quite nice for the price and i'd say i got a steal and cant wait to hit up my local ren faires :)
now, about the sizing. the chart said i would be a small but i took everyones advice and ordered a size up and it fits perfectly. maybe 2 inch gap of skin in the back. if i had ordered a small it would probably be too gappy in the back. for those who are looking for specifics, because i read ALL of these reviews to get a better idea about sizes from experience before i ordered this, im 32-25-33. again, the sizing chart said small but the medium really fits well. it seems that there are a lot of issues, like needing to order 3 sizes larger than your own, are with the largers sizes. honestly i just dont think the company knows how to properly size clothes for woman who have more to love but do ok with the smaller sizes. im afraid i dont have much to say about ordering for higher sizes :( but for you guys out there who are around my measurements the medium is a good, cute, comfortable fit. ive only got some left over space for the breast area, but being an A cup i deal with that all the time :)
