I had twins this year and we started watching this about a month beforehand with our 2 year old. I sent it with her to her grandparents to watch while we were in the hospital and she had a present to bring her brothers when they were born. I think it really helped with the transition and she sings the songs during those hard moments when she doesn't have all of our attention anymore. Recommend it in particular to anyone who is transitioning from only child to multiple children.

My 4 year old daughter loves Daniel Tiger. She watched all the prior seasons and grew out of it for a bit. Now that we see he had a baby sister, she is newly interested and is watching all of those episodes. I love that the show is soothing to adult ears (which makes a big difference as a parent) and each episode teaches a really good lesson with a catchy song that is easy to memorize. We find ourselves singing lots of the songs in our everyday life that we learned from the show.

My son loves Daniel Tiger and we only have access to the first two seasons on Amazon Prime. We bought this DVD for my son in preparation for the arrival of his baby sister, and this is ALL he wants to watch now! I love that it instills in kids a sense of pride about being a big brother or sister, but also validates the feelings of jealousy and sadness that comes along with no longer being the only child in the family. It's helping him understand how to handle those emotions and turn them into something positive.

I got this for my 1 and 3 year old before adding a new baby to the family.

I like how they made the episodes in this on when Daniel's family is expecting a baby. Shows how there is room for you and the baby too, what to expect when a new baby is home and a few others. My son loves daniel tiger, this is one of his favorites. Only complaint from me is when they act out being a baby for 1 of the songs it bothers me the whole "goo goo ga ga" baby talk that's in the song for what seems to be extra long compared to any other daniel tiger song. Maybe it's just me 🤷"â'€ï¸. Still a very good dvd set! Could see it being helpful for any family expecting and wanting to explain a few things to their toddler.
