The reason for 1 star has to do with the poor shipping and handling of these bowls.
Amazon's warehouse staff placed the address label on the bowls box and sent them off with USPS. So if someone wanted to give this as a gift the box is all messed up because the label was stuck to it for mailing.
As for the bowls they look very nice and elegant.
The quality is also good. This was a good buy for a low inexpensive price.
