I think that it's a great tool! The only problem is, finding a pencil with a small enough lead to fit through the tiny slots. Anyone with ideas would be welcomed.

This well-designed template is a useful aid for students at every level: for time signatures, grand staff layouts, dynamic labeling, titling, note placement & duration. Amateurs will find this a useful aid to complement even their earliest studies. Placing scale notes & fingerings by hand, writing principle chords, chord progressions and arpeggios, copying a melody line of an existing composition or writing a few bars of your own are all challenges by "free hand" regardless of one's level. The POINT: Placing notes on a staff "“ whatever the beginning exercise "“ is a powerful supplement to hammering in the basics and advancing your skills. ###

Great tool for learning music!

My 6year old granddaughter is learning to read music. This is the perfect supplement. When I showed her the template and showed her how she could line the notes up on lines or spaces she got very excited. Expect to be using this a lot as she advances in her studies.
