It Works!!

Product works great and my GF loves it. The product performs perfectly but some times the user falters. It is Very important to keep an eye on your line and keep the Kinkajou as level as possible. Also, you dont need to clamp down on to the bottle to the point where your cutting a trench. You just want to score the bottle. if you can see a constant mark, that is tight enough. Rapid thermal expansion and contraction will do the rest
once you got the technique down - works like a charm

Does what it's suppose to. Its hard to use, not because the product is bad or anything. It's precise, so the user must practice and take some time to learn how to use it properly. Once you've done that you can get almost all the bottles to come out perfectly. Takes hours of practice, don't fault the tool if you bottles don't come out as you wanted. Just like you wouldn't blame the hammer for smashing you own thumb.
Love my Kinkajou.

Works very good. A few trial and errors at first, but after a few cuts it performs perfect. I practiced on beer bottles first and then wine bottles. The key is not to put much pressure on the bottle, it should rotate fairly easy. Beer bottles are hard to cut, had a few cracked and irregular cuts. Wine bottles work the best

Great tool for scoring bottles. I also like the way the silicone rings guide the water along the score line. However, both of my rings had a knick in them when I opened the package so I am crossing my fingers that they last for awhile. Kinkajou sends some swag stickers along with the bottle cutter. I attempted four bottles. I had a 50% success rate. This was better than the method I had tried prior to purchasing it that involved, scoring, alcohol, string and fire with water....which yielded 1 out of three bottles for me.
