Looking for the perfect case for a portable Sandisk Extreme 900 SSD? This is it! Get the LARGE SIZE model. Sandisk Extreme 900 SSDs fit in it perfectly with enough extra room for cables, memory cards and usb drives. AWESOME!!! case. Sandisk does not make cases for their Extreme 900 SSDs and I could not find any other case made that accomodates the Extremes' dimensions without being bulky and having too much extra wasted space. With this 3rd party Lacdo Large Size available, Sandisk doesn't need to come up with a case!

Black Case Purchased Dec. 2017 - Fits the larger external HD from Seagate. Holds it snug. Will buy again.
Cons: The inside material is exactly what you expect - sticks to dry hands but is perfect for electronics.
Pros: Fits tight but not too tight. Doesn't smell bad like similar products. Manufactured w/quality materials. Has extra card pockets I was unaware it would come with. Interior lining does not appear to be the type that sheds if you know what I mean.
I'd price this at least at $25. Get one before the price increases.

This is my second portable hard drive case, I use several different portable drives for work and projects. I like this carrying case not only for the protective shell, but also i can keep everything in it place. It will hold a couple of sd card for transporting between systems. You can put a wrist strap or a clip to put on your equipment bag or belt loop. The case is not much bigger than the portable drive, usually fits any place you normal place the drive it self. I have dropped it approximately 3 to 4 ft with out damage, once on carpet and the other time on wood floor. It protected the drive just fine.

I purchased a Seagate 4 Terabyte external hard drive and wanted a carrying case that was well made and small, but offered but offered good shockproof type protection for the hard drive. This carrying case also has a separate compartment for accessary cables or connectors. The Lacedo EVA Shockproof Carrying Travel Case is perfect for what I needed. It has a internal padded protective flap that truly cushions and protects the Seagate hard drive. It comes with a built in carrying strap and an additional carabineer type, swivel attachment, making it really versatile to carry it securely in a backpack, purse or luggage.

I bought this case along with a 4TB Seagate Backup Plus external hard drive. AFTER I ordered the case, I came across a number of negative reviews suggesting the case would not fit this particular hard drive without removing the inner padding--and this concerned me as I had ordered the case as Amazon had suggested it while I was ordering the drive. Upon receiving both items, however, I was very pleased with how they worked together. The drive is certainly snug within the case and it fits in a way that doesn't allow inner padding insert to fully extend, but I'm able to fit the drive and it's cable comfortably inside, and the tightness of the fit seems to make everything even more secure. Honestly, I don't use the case that much because I rarely travel with the case. During the handful of times I've used the case, I've dropped the drive once--and everything was A-OK. I'd imagine this case would protect the case against most non-extreme drops--the rubbery outside provides considerable protection. Overall, I think this case is a great value.
