Love this boat!
JimFebruary 5, 2017
Love this boat! Great for kids of all ages. Easy to carry and transport. It tracks straight. Very stable. And faster than all other sit-on-top kayaks we have used. Very comfortable even for big guys (6'5" 230lbs). It's perfect for paddling around lakes in a bathing suit, and having "funyak" wars. The only downside is that these boats sit lower in the water than most sit-on-tops. And you may get wet. There is no drain hole in the seat. But I always assume I'll get wet when kayaking or boating. So just wear a quick-dry pair of shorts or swimsuit, and have a blast. My kids and I both like this kayak better than most of the other "Higher-End" boats we own or have used. It's a GREAT kayak!
Upgrade from renting

I have and was used to renting. I am a beginner and I on my life jacket anyway. It was perfect for casual use. kayak is so light that dumping any water out is super easy ( I didn't get much small river almost no rapids). I'm 5ft tall and an carry and put in my Subaru without a problem. I ddin't need a car rack. The only issue I had was no storage to bungee on back to tie something dow so I'm glad I had to use space by my legs. But Im short and had enough room and it worked great.

Like the other reviewer posted there is no drain hole so you are sitting in water for the entire time you are out on the water- and when it is wavy you definitely get a lot of water around your bottom and legs. If it had a drain hole this would be a 5 star review but unfortunately without it you are all wet.
Its ok

looks great and comfy, but no drain holes where you sit. Nothing like sitting in a lap high pool of murky water until you can find a spot to get out and dump the yak.
