Beautiful Product! I bought this for my fountain pens. It is really wonderful and I am worried it could disappear since everyone is looking at it with a jealous gleam in their eye! (I have promised to buy them one for Christmas...maybe that will keep mine safe.)

This is the second item I have purchased. The leather is high quality and the sewing is also excellent. I collect and used fountain pens and although the loops are tight at first I am sure they will loosen with time. This matches the journal I use.
Tough leather for wear but needs Treating.

I have one pen roll that I really like but it wasn't cheap $34. The leather is well treated and soft when you get it. The rustic roll is a much rougher leather but you can tell it would wear well. I treated with leather care products a couple of times and it soften up nicely. It still as very narrow slots for fountain pens. Pencils fit perfect. I decided it can hold my jeweler screw driver set. So it has found a home. If I see another use for one, I would buy it again, knowing its limits.

I have never owned a roll-up pencil case. I just happened to stumble across this when I was looking for a regular pencil case. I saw it and new I had to have it. It arrived quickly and I was very impressed. I can fit two of my art pencils in each slot. I had twelve art pencils so I had an extra slot that I put colored pencils in. The back is open so I thought I would try putting the rest of my twelve colored pencils in it. They fit nicely and you don't have to clip them to the front. I also have two charcoal sticks two erasers and two pencil sharpeners in it and it still rolls up wonderfully in thirds.
I love the look and feel of this case and it smells like leather - AWESOME!!!!! I hope to enjoy this case for years to come. I can't wait for it to age and take on the quality of beautiful worn leather.
