they were excellent for spacing the tiles and I get to use ...

The product probably works as intended for smaller tiles. However, with my thick motar for 6"x24" ceramic tiles, they wouldn't stay flat when I'd bed the tiles. Nonetheless, by placing the spacers vertical, they were excellent for spacing the tiles and I get to use them again!
