Was at a local distillery and picked up a bottle of their unaged product. Place one of these in it for two weeks as instructed on the package. I was truly amazed at how it smoothed out and changed the color. Ordering a few more of these.
Age Your Own Whiskey

Much smaller than expected. I think it would be good for aging a single bottle of store bought whiskey. My intent was to age moonshine. This is enough surface area to do one small mason jar but not more. I now prefer the larger oak spirals for my purpose.
use in 500mL or less.

Didn't change the flavor (in 750mL) as much as I'd like it too, even after 30 days.
unaged whiskey to get the best results.

Not completely enthralled with this product. But gets an OK for imparting flavor. Might need to experiment with a very neutral, unaged whiskey to get the best results.

Was really disappointed that it did not cause much of a color change to my white whiskey. No significant aroma added. Size of wood piece very small. Just not worth the cost.
