When looking for replacement cartridges for my Epson XP-640, I came across the idea of just refilling my empty cartridges and saving some money in the process. I came across these inks and they were a great price. I decided to give them a shot. If it didn't work, I'd just return the product and get a refund or be out of 15 dollars and some change. So, when they arrived they came in one box and were neatly packaged. I did not use the needles for I could not figure out where exactly the needles needed to be injected to in the cartridges that I own. All of the ink cartridges worked except for the regular black ink (not the photo black, that one worked). I tried adding more, didn't work, took out some, still didn't work. I keep receiving an error message on my printer to replace the black ink cartridge. So, instead of continuously getting frustrated over the black ink, I've decided to purchase a new black ink cartridge for my printer and be done with. I still have plenty of ink left over to refill my other ink cartridges over 3 more times.

Worked great on HP 63 cartridge (only refilled black so far). The black is not as vivid as the original HP but for my purposes, that's not a concern. I would encourage everyone to do the research on their particular cartridge as to what it takes to refill. A lot of negative reviews list problems that are not caused by the ink but instead by people not fully knowing what to expect. I didn't have an issue with the printer 'thinking' I'm using a refilled cartridge but I did not let it run dry. As others pointed out, the directions were useless so again, do your research before just trying to do the refill and stop expecting the ink level to magically go up. There's nothing in your $50 printer that senses actual ink levels; it's all an estimate done by # of pages.

I have a standard HP 63 cartridge and it took about 8ml of ink. I also had to use a couple quick compressed air blasts to get the ink to settle at the bottom of the sponge. With 200ml of black ink in this kit and cartridges costing $16+ each, this already paid for itself. Looks like based on some of the other reviews, the kit now comes with 'drip' attachments for those style cartridges. Package arrived in a timely manner and all contents were intact.

I love these! I also love that it comes with 100 ML of each color. I actually use the black and photo black in the regular black cartridge. I didn't use all of the accessories to fill my cartridge. I just poked a small hole in the seal of the bottles and used the tip to just slowly drip the ink into the bottom part of the cartridge. I've been refilling like this for years and it is much less messy than putting it into the syringe and poking through. You just need to be careful and only fill about 10 drops at a time. Depending on how fast it takes the sponge to soak up the ink, the slower it soaks up the ink, the fuller the cartridge is. I usually put a few pieces of paper under the cartridge in case it bleeds through. It doesn't happen often and it just saves a lot of time.
I just wish they sold just the black ink separately.

Worked perfectly for my HP 920XL cartridges (CMYK). The instructions in the box are pretty much useless, so here's my two cents:

Just know (for these specific cartridges), you don't need the syringes and can just use the nozzle on the bottles to refill the cartridges. You'll know they are filled when the ink comes out the pressure relief hole on the opposite side of the fill point. Make sure to use gloves and work on a cardboard surface (or something that you can get permanent ink on and don't care about). I used cardboard and a paper towel so that when filling I could see the ink immediately when it leaks out the back; then I just wipe off the excess and it's good to go!

After contacting the company, they agreed that they will start shipping the correct needles in the kit,,1st review was as follows; The ink and kit is great for filling the older model HP ink cartridges like HP56 & 57 series, but for the HP950 & 951series, there should be special needle tips, one with the tip that squirts the ink sideways to push the ball and fill the bladder and one neeldle tip thats used for priming the ink, if the xtra needles or needle tips were included then you can fill the HP950 & 951series cartridges, attached is a picture of the needle tip that should be included and that is definitely needed to fill the HP 950 & 951 series cartridges
Please I am asking that this company sends the correct needles or takes the advertising off that says it works for the HP950 series cartridges
