Distorts - terrible

Ever since I installed this, my guitar distorts with every PA system or board I plug it into. At the music store it worked perfectly, but never on stage. Always have to borrow a guitar for every show since I got this.

This pickup came stock in another acoustic guitar I have and I always have liked it. I put it into a classical guitar and it works just as well. Good sound/tone, not difficult to install, even though it made me nervous to cut into a new guitar.I only wish these came with a flat mounting so it could go on the front of the guitar and make access to change volume on the fly easier. But good product. I tried a disc piezo on this guitar and was not satisfied. The EQ-7545R? I am very satisfied. And the price is outstanding.
