Great Set, Poor Instructions
BoilerUp✓ Verified Purchase•October 12, 2023
We purchased this set with the expectation that the instructions would be difficult to understand (based on previous reviews). The comments from the other reviews were very helpful, because the written instructions from the company weren't very clear. The pictures on the box are helpful when setting up. It is very sturdy, and once we got the set up for the first time, we loved it. Very easy to mow around, no guy wires to trip over.
Works well once it is up. Directions were terrible.

We really like using it now that it is assembled. No guy wires is a huge plus. However the directions were terrible, very confusing and no pictures to see how it should look. We made some guesses that turned out to be wrong and cost us a significant amount of extra time in getting the net properly attached.
Great and as advertised

Great net. You definitely get what you pay for here. As others have said, the instructions are not the best, but if you have put up a volleyball net before, you should be able to figure this one out. The net is very tight and there are no guylines to trip over! This is nearly as good as an anchored indoor net. Get a decent sledge hammer to pound in the stakes. I have a short handle 4 pounder and I break into a sweat pounding them in. I take my net down and pull up the spikes on a regular basis. It took me a while to find a good way to do this the first time but now it is fairly simple. This video will help if you want to pull the spikes out with minimal equipment. All you need are a long bar, piece of sturdy rope and a block of wood. Also need to know how to tie a double fisherman knot and a prusik knot. Go to youtube and search for "remove ground rod" and you'll find a good tutorial there on how to get set up. Other videos will help with the knots.
Best Vollyball system I've ever owned!!!!

Easy to install and works as advertised. I was a bit skeptical about the sturdiness of the vollyball posts (no guy wires and no digging holes with cement) but once you insert the ground plate into the ground (with a 10" spike welded to the plate) and then drive the 24" aluminum spike through the plate's collar, the posts become extremely solid. The net was easy to put up and overall installation was about 15 minutes. Make sure you set up the rope perimeter first!!! This will allow for minor adjustments before you start driving the spikes. Also, the rope perimeter provides the correct distance for width of net (plates are to be installed 20" in from rope perimeter.
Some concerns:
The instructions for installation are poor. There is a metal piece that fits over the 24" aluminum spike that is used while driving the spikes into the ground. I found this out afterwards.
The directions call for a large hammer -- Better to use a sledge!!! Also, make sure you don't drive the stake even with the plate's collar. The picture is not really clear but the stake should remain about 1" above the collar.
Overall -- the design and quality far exceed the poor directions. We have been using the vollyball system for about 3 weeks and love it!!! 5 stars to no guy wires!!!
