I bought this for my dad after he recently had pneumonia and became very weak after being discharged from the hospital. He was using a regular cane, but he tended to forget it and leave it everywhere. This quad cane is great because he can just stand it up wherever he wants and it will be waiting for him when he is ready to get up again. It stands nicely and he uses it all the time.

This cane is sturdy and adjustable. It shipped quickly and I like the bronze color. I had a joint replacement on my big toe and a bunionectomy on the little toe side of the same foot. I've gotten much more use from this cane than I have from cumbersome the knee scooter.
