I love this! I've been working on my laptop from my bed for years now and have neck and arm issues because of the angle and looking down. I've been using this for several weeks, and it really helps my neck stay in a more neutral position, which results in less strain. It's very sturdy. You can set it to the side and not worry about it overheating or tipping over when you take a break. Plus, there is a nice USB fan that is easy to use that's built in. Easy to adjust. I wish I had found this YEARS AGO! I use a variation of one of the recommended settings, and it's perfect for me!
A cheaper fix than a $400 convertible desk

I've wanted a convertible standing desk for a while but realistically can neither afford one nor do I have space for one. I got this hoping it would encourage me not to sit for so long while working, and it does. There are three joints that are super-adjustable so the trick is getting it exactly where you're comfortable with it, where your wrists are still straight if you're typing while standing. When I want a break, I put my laptop underneath it and sit for a while before standing again, though my spouse walked in on that arrangement once and quipped: "... I don't think you're using that right."
I had my doubts about the mouse-pad extension's size, but it works great for me with my wireless mouse.
Short version: For the price I paid ($30 or so), it encourages me to not sit all day, and for that, it's definitely worth it.

Not a good standing desk--wobbly and tips

Unfortunately this desk will not work as a standing desk. I bought t to sit on top of my desk at work so I could periodically stand, and it doesn't work. The legs are a bit wobbly, so it's already risky to put a laptop up that high, but adjusting the angles of the legs so it's high enough for me to stand at (I'm 5'8") makes it so wobbly that it's unusable. If I rest my hands on be keyboard it tips forward and if I adjust my screen angle it tops back. This flat out won't work for someone who wants to use it as an elevated platform like a standing desk.

Very good. Configures into multiple angles. Right now, I've configured it so I can type in a standing position. The instructions didn't specify what the two plastic clips did (holds mouse pad in place but you may have to stuff some paper to prevent them from slipping). Does shake a little when I type on my laptop when extended. Dual fans are quiet. Mouse pad conveniently tilts in different angles but mine was stuck until I applied some oil and pliers. Structural weak point might be the plastic hinges so I wouldn't put a heavy monitor on it but a flat screen should be OK. Lightweight but made of mainly aluminum.
