great Arts & crafts project, best for a 7 year old, but a younger child age 5 could also do it. our older niece age 7 spent a lot of time mixing the colors and blending them in the defined spaces, and not worrying about making a mistake since there are areas that are masked out in a wax sort of material so they could not make a mistake, our younger Niece just turned 5 used the same color in a lot of the spaces. naturally our older niece
did a better job painting, since she spent more time and had a better grasp of mixing the paints, both had a great time. the set allows a child to learn what colors are needed to create a different color than what is provided, without taking away the fun. Now we are going to buy many of the other sets for other relative's birthdays. an added bonus it is not made in China and since it is water based it is an easy clean up!

Arrived on time and in good shape. My 5 yr old granddaughter loved it. The paint colors are very vivid and it was not messy to use. Instructions were in pictures, and included a chart with drops of color to indicate what to mix to create the different shades. Both her younger and older brothers wanted a turn at painting! Only wish the kit included more cards to paint. The fun was over too soon!
