Stuck to the trail.

I take a 9-9.5 US shoe size and the medium fits great. We went for a hike on a gravel path that was iced over (after a rain) then was experiencing a slight thaw of the top layer of snow creating a slush/water covered ice surface. There was no problems going up or down hills in conditions that would have been hazardous to stay on the trail. Other walkers went off trail to navigate their way. After 3 miles the spikes showed no signs of wear even after a short walk on the parking lot and unfrozen trail. The rubber (silicone, I believe) kept the spikes firmly attache and didn't slip.

1-21-18, these are so much better than Yaktrax. The spikes make the difference. I wear a 10 Keen hiking boot and ordered the red medium. Work well on the ice as you can see in the picture. The wrap is great and they don't move around on the shoe.

Microspikes are a must for winter hiking or other slippery winter activities. I use these on snow-packed trails for improved grip as well as on frozen water for ice fishing. These things stick! Don't waste your time with lesser spikes or those silly "coiled" versions. Get microspikes.

I've bought maybe a dozen of these spikes and use to recommend them. They tried to fix the issue of the crampon chain tearing out of the lug by reinforcing the islet. Now instead of a fix-able lug rip (carry zip ties to reattach to the harness, The Whole Harness Rips In Half! Makes the whole system useless.
Tried getting them to live up to their warranty by sending for an RME and following up with phone calls but no response after 2+ month of trying.
