Stylus bends so bad you cant finish the project...

Stylus is a piece of crap! Ordered three and all three get so bent my poor kid cant finish her project. I tried to buy extra stylus and cant find them sold separately. It could be a fun and super cute project if the darn stylus didnt keep bending. I was helping her with one amd she is nine and you have to push enough to get the fabric in but ahe wasnt pushing too hard. My pic is a bit dark but I think you can see whats happening.

This product is a hard plastic shell which you are supposed to push the fabric strips in; however the holes are not premade so you are supposed to do this with the little plastic pusher. The little plastic pusher immediately bends and you have an unhappy frustrated child as you try to figure out if you have a tool handy that could poke starter holes in the cat to make this somewhat feasible. What were they thinking?????
