there was a leak/break in the hose. when first installed the hose seemed fine. it was leaking 24 hours later not from the connection to pipes or dishwasher but in the middle of the hose.
I'm NOT putting in some cheap 'feebie waterline' on ANY of my appliances, thanks away! Going with this inexpensive upgrade...

Look, if you're going to put in any appliance that's going to be there for YEARS to come, spend a few bucks and get the better quality waterline gear. I installed a nice LG high-end dishwasher myself. The delivery folks have a stock cheapy solutions but there was no way I was going to use that kit. Is anyone going to take the time you're going to take to prep your area, clean it and ensure it's installation? No. This kit has a nice reinforced line and will help you sleep at night knowing it's been done right. Take a few extra minutes and do it right!

Box is not as pictured. I was trying to fool Best Buy and save $10 by buying it online (they force you to buy this kit with a dishwasher install), but it does not come as pictured so I had to return it. I'm sure the product inside is fine though.
