We love this game

We love this game. My daughter is 3 and has no trouble playing. Also, it's typically a really short game so it's great for short attention spans, and easy to play multiple rounds so usually everyone gets a chance to win. This version seems particularly nice too. The board is a pretty thick plastic and all the cherries have long enough stems for preschool hands to easily pick up. The only minor issue we've had is that the cardboard spinner board has a warp to it, but we've been able to counter that pretty easily by holding it in place.
Nice game!

Bought as a gift for a 3 year old to help learn counting. He does well and really enjoys the game however his goal is to land on the dog or bird each time so he can yell out "Oh no the dog/bird ate my cherries"!
Fun activity for parents and their preschoolers!

I got this classic for my 3 year-old daughter for Christmas and we LOVE IT! Here's why:
1) It is a fun activity for us to do together!
2) It helps my child with basic math skills - counting and beginning addition/subtraction
3) It helps her with social skills of learning to following instructions, taking turns, playing with others, winning/losing, etc.
I had never played it myself as a child but was familiar with it. It's an easy, basic game. It is a PERFECT first board game for little ones!

This is the same version we had for our children as they were growing up!

I was delighted to find this version of Hi-Ho Cherry-O. It's just like the one my children had growing up. I wanted to buy one for my grandchildren but had only seen the "new" cardboard version, which won't hold up nearly as well. I was happy to find this one which is just like our original, with its molded plastic tray.
This is a great game for younger children who aren't quite ready for games that require logic or strategy. They simply spin the spinner and count how many cherries to put on their tree (or take off if the bucket gets dumped!)

I like the way this particular (original style & version) game Hi-Ho Cherry-O is made, The trees are plastic for the cherries to set in. Much nicer than the cardboard style version. My chihuahua dog even plays this with my 3 year old grandson and I. They are both very smart. Of course they both need a little help.
