I've had this machine for about 8 months. Works great, easy to transport, battery has never run down before I was done hitting - about 2.5 hours of use, and battery still going strong. I do wish you could select an option where it would just deliver the ball to one hand, but you have to do two-line mode. There are times I would like to just work on forehands, but you have to choose two widths for it to send balls to - and so I will choose the furthest setting for the left side so I can easily run around my backhand, to hit a forehand. That is a pain. Other than that, no complaints.

Have had this machine for over a year and I love it. Compact, reliable and very programable.
Don't use regular balls - pressure less work best. I use Micro X which tend to be a bit hard to find.

We love the versatility of the spinshot models of play. My wife and i practice several hours at a time. Typically, we set the machine to oscillate left to right, deep court balls with a little top spin. The bin is rated to hold 120 balls. But, we find that 90 - 100 balls is ideal to allow seemless feeding into the carousel.

The Spinshot Player Tennis machine is more than I expected with all its added features. I used a SAM P1 for the last twelve years and I notice a big difference in the different functions of the Spinshot. It is lighter, better constructed and it is more precise in its action of speed, feed, vertical and horizontal throws. The only drawback with the Spinshot is that the SAM can hold more balls, but nobody trains with 200 or more tennis balls. I am looking forward to using the Spinshot App. to preprogram some of my routines. This a brilliant idea, because I have to change the settings when I practice on the SAM for baseline, lob, smash and volley drills.

I received the machine on time and it was packaged tightly and protected well against any would be damage. I called Spinshot Customer Support, because I wanted to buy a rapid charger and a hybrid power source of battery and electricity. I live in Spain and the voltage is different, but Spinshot had that covered with a dual voltage system! It was perfect for my needs and Customer Support sent out the accessories and it arrived the same time my machine did.

I bought the machine because I play Padel Tenis in Spain and I know for a fact that a tennis machine improved my game tenfold. I am one of the better plays in my club and I am 54 years old. I am looking forward to even improving more with the Spinshot. I am happy, I bought the Spinshot!

Like most other buyers of the Spinshot, I spent hours researching every tennis ball machine I could find before making my decision. Initially, what sold me on the Spinshot was its heavy duty construction (mainly metal), compact size, portability (it has a great luggage retractable handle), ball capacity, and the wifi connectivity and mobile phone app to control the unit. I also noticed the universally positive reviews about Spinshot's customer service. Then, when I received the unit (the Plus model), my expectations were totally met if not exceeded. What a great machine. Once I got the battery fully charged I was able to easily connect the unit to my android phone and run through a variety of settings: From speed to height, and from spin to direction, the machine operated flawlessly. As well, like other customers, I immediately found Spinshot's customer service to be absolutely responsive and helpful. (My unit came with a charger that didn't indicate that the battery was fully charged, and the folks at Spinshot sent a replacement charger out to me in 24 hours!)

One of the main reasons I wanted a tennis ball machine was to help me teach my grandsons (6 and 9 years old) who have been bugging me to take them to the courts. Before the Spinshot, our teaching sessions have been OK, but pretty boring for me because I don't get much of a chance to hit a decent ball. With the Spinshot, I now can stay on the same side of the court with my grandsons and correct them as they return balls programmed just for them, while allowing myself to hit faster and more challenging balls programmed just for me. Fantastic experience!

The bottom line for me is this: I now have a quality machine that I truly believe will give me years of service and that helps me to train my grandsons and improve my tennis game without having to first find a hitting partner. But the real revelation is that I now have a new and fun way to get a challenging cardio workout to supplement the weight training that I do in my gym 2-3 days a week. Unless you are hitting with a club level partner, it is simply impossible to get the cardio workout the Spinshot provides because every ball it sends to you is perfect: Spinshot doesn't make errors and you will run out of steam well before it does. I love it, and IMO this use of a tennis ball machine is largely overlooked.
