Great pumps and powerheads for a fair price!

The 4000 is plenty of pump with power left over to run a manifold on my 55 gallon cube. Smaller footprint than my stock Attman pump. It is silent as well. Love the control panel. Easy to set up. Running for a month now with no issues. I decided to use the return pump after buying the pp-4 power heads. I am very happy with them as well. Henson makes great products for s fair price.
Great so far!

So far so good! I have recently (July 14, 2017 old one went out, received this one about 3 days later) had to replace my return pump on my 85 gallon reef tank. The old pump was also a jebao but was the older, smaller version. I bought the setup used and that was the second blue pump that had been used on it. I was going to buy a third but without knowing how long they lasted before, and reading some reviews, I opted for the larger, newer version. I'm currently running it on about ½ speed. I really like how quiet it is as well as how it slowly ramps up to speed so startup is very gentle and water doesn't go spraying everywhere (since the return pipes are out of the water when pumps are off). I have plenty of room to go up or down with flow depending on the needs of my tank setup and corals. Hoping it holds out and lasts for years to come!
Noisy Whine

It's noisy. I setup my 90 gallon tank in the shop to check for leaks, etc. before moving it into the house. Good thing. It makes a real annoying high pitched whine while running. I just started using the pump yesterday. Ran it all night and this morning the whine is still there. No way I can bring this into the house. Great. Looks like I have to order the American made and much more expensive pump. Great. Waste of money. Don't get me wrong, this pump really moves the water, but it is just too noisy.
Both of these did a good job pumping water and still work to this day

I have tried a couple different pumps in my current setup over the past 4 years. My initial pump is an Aqueon QuietFlow AQ2300 and then I stepped up to Rio 14HF. Both of these did a good job pumping water and still work to this day. But I always had a vibration sound no mater how much dampening I tried. They had rubber feet install, foam cutouts to rest on, and even wrapped water lines with foam where it made contact with any surface. Over time they do get quieter but still has this "Buzz" that is constantly going on.
Once I setup the Jebao DCT 6000 I was worried it wasn't really running like it should. There is a extremely light "whine" when the motor is ramping up but goes away once set speed it reached. Another great feature for this pump is having the "Feed" button to stop the pump for 10 minutes, instead of constantly unplugging-plugging your pump. I also like how the DC pump slowly ramps up the speed; instead of just going full-bore once power is applied, gives fish and turtles a little heads-up.
Now this is just my initial impressions of this pump and will update if accordingly if any issues arises. But for now this a 5 Star pump out the box.
One more thing before I forget, this is a larger size pump compared to most AC pumps I used for my 75 gallon tank. Make sure to check that you have enough tolerance for it.

Good pump for the money

I am using this to run a 5 gallon bucket filter through lava rock media, and then through a return that has inline heater and a 5 foot surface spray bar / agitation pipe. No flow problems at all I use pre filter for mechanical filtration and the pump draws on the return side, so the system is negative pressure instead pushing for positive pressure
