This toner has seriously changed my life! I'm in my mid 30's with sort of oily skin and used to break out a ton on my chin and cheeks. I tried every type of product over the counter for acne including anything with salicylic acid or benzoyl peroxide. I tried face, wash, creams, masks, other toners, switching my make up. I tried name brands (Neutrogena, Proactive, Burt's Bees) and off-brands (witch hazel, generics). Even changing my diet and cutting way back on sugar didn't help. I seriously tried everything to calm down the breakouts!

I got this mostly because I was looking to switch to more "natural" products and this came up in my search results. I read some reviews on this one vs. another similar toner but took a chance with this one. I am SO glad I did! I've changed nothing about my routine but this, and I rarely ever break out now!!! I use it twice a day - once in the morning and once at night. I haven't noticed it drying out my skin, and my skin has actually become softer! I LOVE this stuff! THANK YOU for saving my skin from further red scarring from breakouts and thank you for saving this 30-something from the embarrassment of breaking out like a teenager again! I couldn't speak more highly of this product!

I have purchased this toner twice and will continue to do so since I know it has completely changed my skin. I stopped using this for a short time and my skin had a severe breakout reaction because my skin had adapted to the toner. Since using this again, my skin has completely cleared up to the point where I don't have to wear makeup again. I have also been using sunscreen every day and this sometimes causes my skin to breakout, but with this toner it seems to counteract and prevent further breakouts. I will purchase this product again and again because I know it will work for my very sensitive skin type.

So, I normally use a product for couple of weeks and see how it's working before I write a review. With this toner, I just had to write a review the first time using it. I hope this product is an answered prayer. I suffer with dark spots from years of acne. I've tried every thing else and nothing is fading my marks as effectively as I will want it to.

I am amazed at how effective this toner is. The first time I used it, I had to use two cotton balls for my face, that's how dirty my face was. I washed my face with my CeraVe cleanser, I soaked the cotton balls with the toner and proceeded to wipe my face... WOW! The white ball turned brown, both front and back. I used two cotton balls to get all the dirt out of my face...My face looked clean, fresh and glowing. There was some tingling but nothing I couldn't handle. I pray and hope this toner will gradually fade my spots and give me that glowing skin.

I'm sticking to this toner... I'm done looking lol. I just finished my first bottle.. Although I hoped the bottle came a bit bigger with more product lol. This is the only Toner I've used and seen drastic change to my face. It cleans dirt, tones, and allows product to penetrate for maximum effect. I haven't broken out since using this toner. My face looks smooth and its evening out. I suffer with dark spots and I'm looking forward to all the dark spots fading away. If you are looking for a great toner for acne/oily skin, please try this.

I strongly recommend this product to anyone who is dealing with acne, especially young men in sports.

I am a former acne sufferer, and had to use Accutane and Retin A to finally resolve it. So, when dealing with my son's problems, I did everything that helped me: Vitamin A, Proactive, and a variety of other things. But it kept getting worse. And since he refused to go to the doctor, I was limited to OTC treatments.

Finally, I realized I needed a toner to his treatment plan. After reading the reviews, I opted to order Lavo. Best decision ever.

I use this once or twice a day (the second time after he fences, as the fencing mask is a contributing factor to where he breaks out). Within a month of me using this, his skin is fairly clear (at least as much as a teen boy's can be). I think he will have some issues always, because of the fencing mask. However, his skin is soft, there are far fewer pimples, and those that do develop go away quicker.

If you are dealing with this kind of acne, let me also recommend the following to add to Lavo

1) Vitamin A supplement (all pharma products for acne are related to this molecule) 2) Proactive Benzoyl Peroxide for light areas of breakout 3) Rapid Results Acne Treatment Face Cream 7.5% benzoyl peroxide for serious breakout areas 4) Humane face wash.

I wanted to wait a week using the product until I wrote my review, and over the past week or so, my skin has felt so much cleaner and brighter. This gets off all the extra dirt my regular cleanser leaves behind which also helping to even out my skin texture. There's no heavy scent chemical or otherwise which is refreshing because most products I like have added scents that are very strong. It's a very liquid texture and works great when used with a cotton pad. There's a slight film to it but it does go away after awhile, which I assume is the glycolic acid working it's magic. I do t usually buy the same product twice cause I love trying new things, but this, I'm definitely going to be repurchasing.
