As I searched Amazon for a kennel cover I came across this one, I compared it to multiple ones and finally pulled the trigger and got it. I drove across the country with it and my dog was warm the whole time especially up north where it was sub 30F I thought it wouldn't be that warm but it surprised me. After 2k plus miles on the road it's still looks brand new so the durability is amazing on this product

the cover like all covers now days has a plastic zipper. wish somebody made a metal zipper. so like all zippers it began to stick from day one. I used to spray the zippers with WD40 but have recently found out that WD40 will eat and dissolve the plastic zipper. I found this stuff called Zipper-Ease on Amazon for about $7. Just rub on the zipper and no more sticking. You should include a stick with your kennel cover.

I don't write many reviews for the products I buy and rightly so I probably should. This ArcticShield Insulated Kennel Cover was by far one of my best purchases this year. It has a superb fit over a large kennel, with cinch down straps and elastic hem for easy on/off access and very comfortable in cold temperatures. Now I must say I have an English Pointer who normally rides in the cab with me, however for those times he does ride in the back this cover is well worth the expense and durability that hunting seasons bring us with rain, sleet and snow. Opener weekend it rained all day and the wind blew and the pup was comfortable in the back with his side windows and the front zipped up to prevent rain from entering. I hope this review helps you.

This cover worked well for our maiden voyage. No complaints.

We bought this to cover the kennel of our big cur, who likes to ride in the back of the truck. Rainy days and colder weather made it uncomfortable, so we searched for an insulated cover that was versatile enough to allow him to see out and air flow through, yet able to close up in cold or inclimate weather. This does the job. It has a door cover and two roll up "windows" on the side. A bit pricier than other styles we looked at, but still a good value and worth every penny. We've even used it on very cold nights to allow him to sleep in the kennel in the garage. It shipped and we received it quickly and have been using it ever since. Come spring we will remove it but should be weather be rainy, it will be easily installed once again. Very durable and has held up well to daily loading and unloading of the kennel from the truck.
