I already had a car charging adaptor but it had started to fail so after searching a bit, decided to buy this one. I have listed the good and bad of the this below.
Pros:
1. Since my car is an older model, it doesnt have any temperature sensor. The temperature guage in the adapter is very helpful. The read out is in degree C which is what I use and comfortable, so that was an added bonus.
2. I have had the car battery failing on me a couple of times, so the voltmeter will be useful in preventing this.
3. The voltmeter and ammeter for the USB outlet is an added feature.
Cons:
1. The temperature sensor is mounted on a short cable and protrudes outside the adapter. This is usually not visible but with little kids in the car, it might soon get pulled off.
2. The spring mount on the central lead is too hard and as a result, pushes the adapter a few millimeters out of the chamber. I had to push it in a couple of time before it stayed in. But strong vibrations cause it to be pushed back out causing loose connection. The manufacturer certainly needs to get this sorted.
My Suggestions to the Manufacturer:
1. Try to include the temperature sensor in the adapter body instead of letting it protrude outside
2. Rectify the issue with central lead spring.
3. Option to change the LED screen color to match the car interior. Currently only blue is available.
For the price, I would definitely recommend this product.

Nice little unit; bought it mainly to see interior Jeep temps but nice touch to see battery voltage and that the alternator is charging battery with spikes up to 14 volts after starting Jeep. Good price, good temp gauge and responds quickly. Plug and play; doesn't get any more simple than that.

I have a hybrid, air conditioning stops running every time I come to a stop. I needed a temp gauge for the interior of my car. I purchased one several years ago but it only displayed temps in Celsius and I needed one that would display Fahrenheit. This product fit the bill and seems to be accurate enough for my needs. Had it about a month and it is working fine.
