Might work best with the Rockler version of the miter bit but not with the Yonico as recommended in Q&A for this item. Grooves did not line up for the bit height adjustment and definitely will not work to align fence depth, not a feature of this jig. Had to use scrap cuttings to perform trail and error before I got it right. There are good instructions on line to manually adjust, recommended over this jig process to create your own jig.

Ordered the Freud 45 degree lock miter bit, Amazon showed this to be purchased with the bit to aid in set up. Profile is different. Seems to be of good quality, however it will also only set up one side of the profile, the end cut. My suggestion is to get some scrap lumber, make the cuts for both the end cut and the side cut until they fit correctly, and save those as your set up jigs.
I'm sure that for the correct bit this works great.

Doesn't actually fit the CMT version of this style of bit, but I was able to use it to at least properly eyeball the height and that significantly cut down on the amount of trial and error adjustment required. I'm sure that for the correct bit this works great.

This DOES not 100% match up with the groves on the actual bit. I am using the lock miter bit from Amazon. It works well enough the get it set up to run wood through the router. But you have to eye ball most of the alignment.
