Torn between a 3 and 4
Sharon Brewster✓ Verified PurchaseJanuary 19, 2018
Aesthetically this bed is enjoyable for my daughters bedroom. However, like your usual metal frames the bolts aren't the most stable and my daughters aren't tiny so considering the taller frame and almost hitting our ceiling they aren't comfortable being on the top bunk. Also, it is a bit tricky to switch between couch and bed for the bottom frame. I was torn between a 3 or 4 star honestly. But I went with 4 star because my girls are so excited to have couches in their bedrooms. Also, the price for these beds were so much better than the wooden frame bunk beds.
Weight limit for bottom bunk is far less than advertised it seems. Be careful

Very disappointed. We bought this bed in March of 2017. Bottom bunk states can hold up to 400 lbs (600 stated on the box) however is now warping less than a year in from purchase with no greater a weight than 300 on it at any given moment as 2-3 very light weight children use it to sit and watch cartoons or to sleep on it. Now its breaking. Also been looking high and low for a place to contact customer service on this bed and I see no means of contact. A child's bed should not fall apart one year and because it's made so poorly. This is very disappointing and if this is the kind of products that you put together for children I do not recommend it to anyone.
Piece of Overpriced Junk...

Piece of junk. Holes do not line up, parts missing, and assembly instructions missing steps. Had to tear down the entire assembly due to instructions missing a key step, and had to Jerry rig together due to missing parts. Luckily, only using for minimal use in the spare room/ office.
literally a big regret

I read all the complaints about the bed before purchasing...I missed one in particular and a regret it. People complained about the bed coming in with bad parts, holes not drilled right, or parts unwelding and breaking off....that didn't happen to us and I was glad for a while about the purchase, until the spring mechanism that turns the bed into a couch started bending and it wouldn't fold into a couch anymore. it bent so much it started poking thru the wall of the end of the bunk bed. I've only had the bed for less than a month, and was hoping it would last for at least the next 10-15 years. :( You truly get what you pay for. you try to buy cheap, you get cheap materials. Why is this part not made of steel?! someone else had mentioned the same parts bending as well. this bed doesn't want to be a couch! also trying to return this thing? going to be a pain since I have to take it all apart again and try to find a big enough box to stuff it in :'(
Not all parts included, but when you eventually get them, it's a good deal.

The parts in the box were not correct, but after 8 weeks, two wrong shipments, and one final correct shipment, I was able to assemble the frame.
The quality of the parts were acceptable, if you are lucky enough to get them correct the first time (or second, or third, or fourth).
