Hughes Autoformer
Judy Holman•August 2, 2017
This is something I have been wanting for several years and finally purchased for my Motor Home and Travel Trailer. I have had some low voltage at RV parks and know what it will do to your appliances. This should eliminate my problems in the future.
Works Great!

The unit is doing a great job of maintaining voltage to my RV as power levels vary widely throughout the day. I've seen voltage at the power pole as low as 84v but usually varies from 115 - 90 volts. The Hughes Autoformer will compensate and maintain output between 100 and 125 volts. As advertised the Autoformer reverts to "pass through" below 90 and 115 volts. My AC units rarely if ever labor under low voltage conditions.
Great Product!

Works absolutely wonderful. First time used in in a campground we frequent. Power was varying around the 100 volt range +/- , plugged in thru this unit and and our power never fell below 122 volts the whole weekend during peak park use and at times was pushing 130 volts. Wonderful product. Very happy so far after about a month of use.
Best investment for the RV!

The wife and I have been RV'ing for 12 years now. Working out of town and away from home, it beats Hotel rooms! We plugged into a park in Long Beach CA and started having trouble with the front A/C on our coach......it would kick off (along with our TV). We called a service professional to give it a look and he recommended one of these (I had never heard of it before and thought he was full full of "it"). After doing some research on the net we decided to get one. It came with a digital voltage meter (plugs into the wall) and a locking cable, which was a nice surprise. I plugged in the voltage meter and it read 106V.....and the A/C would kick on and off within seconds, getting hot and tripping the breaker in the fuse box. I plugged this unit in and plugged the coach into it and the voltage meter read 116V.....the A/C came on and sounded strong, blows cold, no more issues. SAVE YOUR APPLIANCES.....I couldn't believe the difference.
It worked awesome. We have two ac's in our motor home ...

We got this at the first part of the camping season and one of the first camping areas had low voltage from time to time. It worked awesome. We have two ac's in our motor home and we could hear them drop in power and then go right back up again
