Had a "male procedure" and couldn't sit with pressure on my groin. The donut was nice, especially after buying several of those expensive foam seat cushions that were way too firm. The texture of the donut prevents slipping off. The supplied pump did require a lot of repetitions to get full inflation, but not a big deal. My only wish would be to have the donut slightly larger. The bottom line is the simple inflatable cushion is still the best option for post-surgical discomfort.

Works great at relieving tailbone pressure/pain. Be sure you have it inflated enough, if not it can be saggy and not firm enough to be a solid supportive cushion.

The first cushion I got ended up having a bad valve in it. After a while of using it and enjoying good tailbone relief, the valve failed. I contacted customer support and they sent me a new one as a replacement no charge. The new one seems to have a good valve so far. Outstanding customer support, and the new cushion is working good. Ive updated my rating to 5 stars, highly recommend.

My husband has had to sit in our recliner constantly due to a problem with his foot. He finally wore out the support in the seat of the recliner, but we were unable to get out to purchase a new one. I bought this donut in an attempt to ease the pressure on his tailbone and it began relieving him immediately We still need to get a new recliner, but this solved the problem for now.

My wife wanted this for her postpartum (after pregnancy). She read about it somewhere and thought it would help her. It really does help take the pressure off that sensitive area after pregnancy. The only reason I'm docking 1 star off is because every time wife sits on it after inflating it to her liking, the valve pops out and starts deflating. To combat this, she has to flip it where her leg sits over the valve (to hold it in place). Still though, it's somewhat annoying. Overall, decent product though.
The actual donut is quite nice and comfortable

I haven't had the pleasure to use it yet, other than inflate it and have a trial run. The actual donut is quite nice and comfortable. I tried the hard foam doughnuts and did not like at all. With being inflatable, you can adjust how firm you want it.
The only issuie I had, the inflator part, I was having a hard time getting it to work, (likely user error). For me, I learned I had to squeeze the portion of where the inflator goes in to get air in. Through this process, the inflator got damaged, but I could use the old traditional method and just blow air in. I contacted Frederick Medical Supply, and they went out of their way to remedy the situation. They gave me 3 options, all were fair and honest. I took them up on sending me a new product as I was very impressed with the actual donut. Haven't had a chance really to use the inflator tool.
5 stars for customer service, 5 starts for doughnut, maybe a tad less for the inflator process, but I understand the engineering behind it so it doesn't leak air.
