I'm on the AIP diet and this has become my go-to sweet snack. I used to eat things like Lara Bars, but now that I'm off nuts, there aren't many options among the bazillions of "natural" bars that have flooded the market. The only other thing that's comparable to this is the That's It! fruit bar line, and of those the only one I'll eat is the Apple + Coconut because my blood sugar gets worked up if I eat pure dried fruit without any fat.

That product is good, but Barnana banana-coconut bites are better. They're sweet but not cloyingly sweet; they're chewy and satisfying. They feel nutty and substantial and textured without actually containing any nuts. They are a bit expensive, but I find I don't need so many to feel satisfied. You can travel easily with them, the pouch is convenient and easy to reseal, and they last a long time. I also like the little story on the back about how they're made from the ugly reject bananas. Maybe it's just marketing but it makes me happy to read it!

Highly recommended for restricted diets as long as your budget allows for a luxury snack item or two!

I love this company's concept and product. I only gave it 3 stars though because I'm slightly disappointed in my recent order. I'm not sure what happened but the chocolate coating of the bananas were mottled and cracked. I've bought them in a store before, so I know they're supposed to be smooth and shiny. The taste is the same, but they just look unappetizing.

My 2 year old loves these I buy them local when I can find them in stock I just bought 3 bags we couldn't wait to get them we hurried up and opened them and the chocolate is white and old looking I have had them before so I already know they are not suppose to look like these. So disappointing. They don't even taste like they normally do. They are usually a shinny black and looks like dark chocolate. I won't give these to my baby.

I cannot believe I paid almost $5 for 14 small pieces of a pb coated banana. (The pieces are the size of a quarter and smaller.)

I don't know what I was expecting when I bought these, but they were definitely a surprise. They quite literally are dried bananas. I thought they'd be similar to banana chips, but they aren't, and they aren't trying to be. Instead, they're more like any other dried fruit. The reason I got the original flavor is because the other flavors are about twice as costly, although I would really like to try the chocolate and peanut butter flavors. The originals are great as they are (have a sort of a banana bread taste to them), but after eating four of five bags they get a bit boring. I'll have to put the box in storage for a while and come back to them in a month and I'm sure the cycle will repeat itself until I eat them all. But what can I say? This cycle happens with all the foods I eat.

I opted for the 12 pack of 3.4 oz bags only because it's a better deal, price per ounce wise. It probably wasn't a good idea seeing as how I had no idea if I was going to like them, but I ended up liking them. I'm the only one out of my friend group who does though because the texture gets to them. I love chewy things though, and these are really tasty. I'm looking forward to trying the other flavors in the future.
