Perfect for a Kala U-bass

I was about to invent something like this out of necessity when I discovered this item. It fit on my Kala U-bass perfectly. It's tight without scratching the wood and does not move at all. It looks like it could be a stock piece. Simple, well designed and does the job.
Doesn't Really Fit As Expected

The item arrived, quality seemed fine, pretty much as expected - except that the clip is perpendicular to the rest. My impression from the image is that the clip is parallel to the rest. There's really only one location this can be mounted so that it is parallel to the strings (top of sound hole). IN this spot it is too far from the strings (used to working from my pickups on an electric) and found myself trying to pluck air when aiming for the top string after it was installed. It does seem to stay in place well - just not where I want it.
Rather then take the return shipping hit, I'm going to try to reposition the clip, but would not buy again or recommend.

Works just like it says. The clip is tight enough to keep it in place, but I could put it on without scratching my bass. I recommend this especially if you have small hands.

Works perfectly in the soundhole of my wife's Kala U-Bass. She loves that little bass, but couldn't play it comfortably without having someplace to anchor her thumb. For just a few dollars this has greatly enhanced her enjoyment of the instrument.
