My outdoor wireless IP camera that I bought only came with a 10 foot power cord so I purchased this one to be able to extend the wire into my basement to plug it into the nearest outlet.
If I would've used just the adapter that my camera came with I would've had to run an extension cord and plug the camera in somewhere outside. For the price of this cord (which isn't much more than a shorter cable) it gives you 25 extra feet and even if you don't need the cable that long it's nice to have just in case. You can roll up the excess and use a cable tie if it is too long.
This cable has 5.5x2.1 mm ends and works well with my Amcrest cameras. To run the wires through my wall I had to drill a 1/2 inch hole and these ends fit perfectly through it.
From my experience this is the size most outdoor cameras use for the power supply.
The cable itself is good quality and I am definitely going to purchase more of them in the future for my other cameras. I would definitely recommend these to anyone.

Great speed, easy to hookup and the flat nature of it makes it much easier to hide. It's very durable surprisingly, and it runs just as strong as my more expensive versions. The power remains steady and its a long cable for a good price. Ive purchased a few so far (mounting high IR lights for CCTV systems/cameras.
These also fit in my routers, and i have used them in lieu of extension cords to the sockets, relieving the bulky messes of wires for similar appliances. A splitter and extension (this item) and i am running a NAS, router and managed switch from one power block currently... Saving room plugging similar items in.
