Wore cover up on beaches in Kauai and it performed very well. It blocked the sun and I did not have to worry about constantly applying sun blocker. I did have a problem with the V neck. I could not tie it sufficiently to block the sun around my neck. That design is a puzzle to me since the front of the neck and upper chest is the most tender. Wearing the hood up helped but there was still open space around the neck. Maybe some buttons would help. The stretchy material did allow me to pull it over my knees when sitting. It does take a long time to dry but I assumed that is because the material is treated to block the sun. Overall it let me enjoy the sun without the sunburn.
Love it! Great for the beach, pool, or a trip to the grocery store.

I ordered the black and white striped in the Medium and the fit was perfect. I'm 5'8", 160, 38B-C up top. Sleeve length is great on me cuz I have long arms. I had also ordered the teal one in Medium but it (the solid color) didn't seem to hide the imperfections around the waist as much as the striped one so I sent that one back and ordered the blue/white striped one. Also, it isn't too warm on me so far. It's almost May in North Florida and I've got my fingers crossed that I won't sweat to death in it once it's in the 90's with high humidity. Can't get skin cancers so I'll soldier on no matter what!

I can't say enough about how great this cover up is! Besides being very flattering, it is extremely functional. It protected me from the sun without being too hot even in the Caribbean sun! I was worried about the long sleeves, but it was fine, and the hood eliminated the need for a hat. I could wear this from the beach straight to go get a bite to eat and not feel inappropriate since the cover-up was like a dress. I highly recommend this!

I get compliments on this every time I wear it! It's perfect as a cover up when you're spending the day at the pool, lake, beach, etc. and is appropriate to wear into a restaurant. I didn't think I'd like the long sleeves but they pull up easily. I wore this to Aruba and was thankful for the long sleeves b/c the sun was scorching there!
