I originally bought this to shoo away flies that gather on my porch. It worked really well but the noise and movement scared the crap out of my dog. So I waited for my neighbors across the street to go out to dinner with their visiting family, snuck over over to set this up on their porch, added a wifi switch, and used one of my driveway cameras to watch for my neighbors returning from dinner. As they got within a few feet of their porch, I tapped an onscreen button on my phone and watched the people scream in delight and wave to the camera. In summary, great for flies, great for fun, too loud for residential use unless you can set it very far away, scares some dogs.
