Tired of “begging†for check registers? This is the answer!
Chuck✓ Verified Purchase•February 15, 2018
So I don't know if you get frustrated with your bank like me when you ask, or forget to ask for a new register, and you have to drive all the way back through rush hour or creep along stuck in traffic, only to be met by a teller that's ready to call it a day that tosses you a check register kind of like you'd toss a snack to your dog. What??? You want two?? Well, just this once, maybe. You can tell that they're thinking, we should charge the customer for these, what a "hassle". Buy this! Then, the only reason for that bank trip will be for money. I bought this the first time back in 2015 and just recently thinking I would need it soon. But by reviewing it, I've discovered I probably have another year before I actually need another. So, I bought it in mid 2015, and I use approximately 2 pages a month. Each page has lines for 26 entries, and in 2016 I used 25 pages total, which is 350 entries. I may have one check on each page, sometimes none as most of my entries are for my debit card. For me it appears I will be using one of these every 3.5 years. Bank on that!
Perfect size! Very cute yet simple!

I'm very pleased with this purchase! I (a high school senior) just took a personal finance class and realized how important it is to have a check register and compare it to your bank statements. I wanted something cute and simple looking and this is exactly that!
The size is great, not so small you'd have trouble writing in it but it's not unnecessarily big like the size of a regular notebook. It comes with a quick guide on how to use a check register on the back of the cover. This was very helpful because I nearly forgot how to use one. The register boxes are about the size of a wide ruled notebook. And there are 50 pages but they're front and back so it comes out to be 100 pages.
I'm not sure how long that will last me because this is my first check register, but when I run out of room I know I'll be buying this book again!

Excellent Financial Tool

This is the perfect register! I searched for months to fins something like this that wasn't designed for businesses and finally discovered this gem! I've had it for about two months now and it has made tracking my debit card purchases and checks so much easier. I write checks to pay all of our bills, and rarely use the credit card, so all of those little debit card purchases had me going through those tiny checkbook sized registers so quickly! Every other line is shaded to make it easier to read across the lines and it is so easy to look back at the previous months if I am questions a purchase. I carry a large purse and this fits perfectly, but might not work so well for some of my smaller cross body bags. Overall an excellent tool. The only thing I wish was different is the description line is a little short. I will be buying this again (but probably won't need to for a while, yay!)
great little ledger book
Boris Starosta✓ Verified Purchase•April 8, 2017
very nice little ledger book, with all the right columns, including the RECONCILED TRANSACTION check column. While I'm here, a callout / question to all you out there who still balance your checkbooks. Why is it that online banking "experiences" do not allow you to mark your transactions as reconciled? My bank has refused to address this question for many years now, including in a recent online software overhaul (which dumbed everything down to tablet/phone screens functionality). It drives me nuts! Does anyone use an online / bank where it is possible to "check off" or otherwise mark reconciled transactions? It's so very important in helping to discover fraudulent transactions - you'd think that would be a major concern - especially now that we draw on our accounts using several different channels in addition to paper checks.
googling for this question has been useless - so I'm trying here;-)

Thumbs up

I was using both lines in my checkbook to write notes to myself and confirmation numbers when I paid online. But, with this check register I found I am only using one line, still writing numbers and notes. I've been using the superior check register for a few months now, and I am very happy I purchased them. I will not go back to another check book register again. I highly recommend this, as I am very happy I went with this register.
