If you don't know the game it's a lot of fun. I haft to say I don't like the dice shaker that it comes with now. It is plastic and overly loud. When I was a kid it came with a velvet lined cup. Seems small I know, but the cup was much better.

This is my own fault, since it's clearly displayed on the box, but I didn't notice this version of Yahtzee doesn't come with the little red plastic cup to shake the dice in like it did when I was a kid.
It comes with a weird black tire-esque THING to put them in instead.
It also does come with a felt lined board OR chips like the original version!! Apparently these days th have to buy the DELUXE version to get that!
I don't know why they decided that was a good idea. The ew shaker is ugly and barely fits in the box unless you throw away the white cardboard box covering the score papers in the game box.
AND, since I was sent the red box version of classic Yahtzee shown in the last display photo, and not the black box version in the majority of display photos, my black dice shaker doesn't even come with the red insert that keeps the dice inside of the shaker!
Besides that, it's Yahtzee. It's a fun game, and it's the same as it's always been.
The only other weird thing is the top of my box is weirdly scratchy and rough like sandpaper despite being shiny and seemingly without defect or scratch.
Idk, it must just be weird printing or materials.

I'm not going to send it back, since it's mostly my fault for not noticing the terrible quality changes, especially for the $8 I paid.
It'll go well in our family game night rotation. But I still feel cheated.

This is a great set, from the past of games. My only complaints is that the dice cup cannot stand up, and it's noisy. All surfaces are round so it has to lay on it's side. I didn't expect to have to purchase a normal quiet dice cup to make this game complete. Otherwise it's a great game from the past, that never gets old.

Yahtzee is a fun, easy game that can be played with people all ages. It's a great game to have a home, or bring to family reunions.
As for the product: it arrived when expected at my house, box was intact and sealed. Nothing missing.

I love Yahtzee, and played it way too much about 20 years ago!! My daughter saw this and I told her how much fun I had playing it so she wanted to give it a try. She likes it. My only complaint is the new cup..........the opening is too small and she kept dropping the dice when she tried to put the dice back in the cup.
