I have a totally normal standard-issue doorway and could not close my door after applying this hook, ergo making it pointless because I am a reasonable woman who wants to be able to hang her bathrobe on her doorway without leaving her door cracked and thus subject to unwanted entry 100% of the time. The plastic is way too thick for any normal door to close while this is on.

I always get ready early in the morning for work (4:30am) so I need to grab all of my clothing and sneak out of the bedroom to a spare bathroom. It's nice to have a place to hang my shirt and pants while showering and getting ready. These simple little door hooks are perfect for adding a hanger spot to a bathroom, but I also use them in my office to hand my sweater when I come in. They are easy to install (REALLY EASY to install lol) and get the job done.

Can't close the door when these are on. They are too thick and fragile. Both where instantly broken when forgetting these where on and shutting the door. The smaller metal ones don't do this.

These are the hard thick rigid ones (good) and they are far too narrow for a standard door or sliding bath door (bad). If they were a little wider they would probably be perfect. Looking for some other way to use them than what we needed.

I wish these were longer. I bought them not for a closet but to hang over the glass side of my shower so I have a place for towels. This wouldn't work for most people but I happen to have a glass box with the sliding doors in one side and a solid piece of glass looking over the tub. I had a longer similar hook that was losing the struggle to hold the weight of multiple towels.
These hooks do very well, especially as my newest IKEA towels have hook-loops on one edge, but I have to steady them when putting towels on them or lifting towels off. A heavier longer hook with a deeper curve would allow one-handed use more easily. On the shower glass the top of the hook has lots of free play, of course, which is why it rattles and lifts when I tug the towels. I did try putting a spare hook over a bathroom door only to find that the door would not close with the hook on it. And people using these on doors rather than shower glass might find they have to reach a bit higher than they want as these don't hang very far down from the door's top.
