color was not actually teal, it was blue. Not exactly sure why it is not made more publicly known that if these get the slightest bit wet, they will STAIN your furniture... not sure why a better quality dye or sealant isn't used to prevent this, what good is a coaster to "save" your wood from water rings if it goes ahead and leaves permanent stains on your brand new furniture. Not happy.

After reading reviews saying that the dyed versions left stains everywhere, I decided to go for the natural, undyed option and I am so glad I did!

Opening the box up I was amazed at how cool these coasters are. I am all for adding natural elements into my home so these are going to fit in just wonderfully. There are stick-on rubber feet included in the box so you can place them wherever you want to, or choose to go without. I definitely would recommend using them, however, because the surface of the coasters is quite smooth and slippery. I think I would have preferred a little more friction on at least one side so that whatever drink I put down isn't going to want to slide right off, but I didn't really buy these expecting them to be super functional coasters. If your drink sweats, it will probably run right off the surface of the coaster and down onto your table.

As far as the slices of rock you get, I expect that I got very lucky. All of my coasters have beautiful variation and some crystals. I fully expect that if I were to purchase again that whatever I get would look completely different. That's just how nature is. It's always a gamble when you buy something like this online since you don't actually get to pick them out yourself in person.

If you have kids, I would recommend caution if you plan to buy these. They feel fragile. Like really fragile. I'm sure one good fall onto the floor would be enough to either crack or completely shatter them. They could also be much more durable than they feel...but I don't plan on testing that!

In closing, these are going to be awesome conversation starters. I would purchase again.

I'm underwhelmed.

I expected that what I received would not necessarily match the picture, because there is a natural variation in rocks. I did, however, expect that the colors would be vibrant as represented in the picture (they aren't). They are almost dingy, even after washing with a gentle soap and drying with a t-shirt as suggested to others here. It also grinds my gears that someone in these reviews was told by the seller (customer service) that these aren't real agate. If they're dyed stone to create the agate look, then that should be disclosed in the description. Fair play if it is now, but I read through at the time of my purchase it was not noted by the seller.

The packaging was OK. A box within a box. The smaller box that contained the slices could have been done providing more protection; all four were wrapped in paper, but there was no buffer between the slices, so they have scratches from each other on the outside rim due to what can only be slightly rubbing against each other during packaging and ship. Not tragic, but another nudge toward the "meh".

Rubber bumpers were not included in my package. I'm semi-crafty, so I had some already. No big deal, but worthy of note since they are supposed to be included.

Sizes varied greatly. Some are OK, but one in particular is barely large enough to hold a bottle of mildly impressive hipster grade beer. Also, the thickness of the slices vary greatly as well. One is thick enough to be considered a nice solid weight, one is normal and two are quite thin. I would worry about structural integrity if I was to accidentally drop it. (some may crack, but two would definitely shatter on impact). It kinda drives me a little nuts that I can't neatly stack them in a manner that is aesthetically pleasing.

Overall: They're fine, but I definitely wouldn't make this purchase again.

As beautiful as these appeared upon arrival, there were drastic variations in color intensity. As unwrapped them from their paper inside the box, I noticed dye on the paper. That should have been my first indication this wouldn't go well. By the time I finished putting the bumpers on all 4, my hand had chanced color as well.

Upon contacting the seller, I was told the factory didn't clean them properly and I should give them a thorough scrub with soap and water. She also added that if I wanted ones that wouldn't rub off, I should have bought the natural colored coasters that have no dye. She also proceeded to tell me that this will be the case with ALL sellers that offer thee on Amazon which I know for a fact is a lie. The seller should NOT be selling product that they know is not up to par.

I can only blame myself for not researching the reviews prior to purchasing. I should have bought the expensive ones that come with a certificate from the start.

I just received them today and they do not look like the picture but that is 100% okey because if they are real they can't all look the same. My wife and myself love them but the only reason why I give it a 4 is because they came in feeling dirty so I gave them a quick wipe with just a tank white tank top and I noticed the tank top was taking on the color of each one. I'm not sure if it's just the grind down dust or if it's the same problem as another reviewer had when they had put water on it and the table got stained with the color of the rock. It dose come with ruber bumps witch is great (Prevents sliding) but just don't know if it will leak color as it did to that person or if it was just the grind down dust that wasn't cleaned off. One more "problem" I had with these is that my pink rock came "chiped" witch I don't mind because it's a nature look they have when broken open instead of sliced. Over all I feel like a 4 is right for these only because I'm not sure if the discoloration of the shirt was from dust or the rock jist not sealed right. I will update after a new days or weeks of use. Even though they do not resemble the ones in the picture they are gorgeous Nonetheless.

Have been using them for a while now and so far have not have any incident where the color came off on to the table so they are doing great all my guess love them! Will be ordering more later on.
