My daughter LOVES this puppy. She sleeps with it at night (on off) and plays with it all day. It is really adorable and she pretends that it's real (she is almost 6). She wants a real puppy so bad, but the timing isn't right for us, so this will work until we can get a real dog in the future. The only thing is that sometimes it seems a bit fickle when you wave your hand in front of it. It seems as though it goes to sleep or shuts off and you have to work on it to 'wake it up'. It also sucks down batteries really quick... we went through 3 sets of batteries (1 set was included so they could have been low anyway) within the first 5 days or so. If you are going to buy this, I recommend using rechargeable batteries with it. It's a really great toy!

Bought this as a Christmas present for my son. We wrapped and when he opened it for Christmas, it did not came on. We changed batteries, thinking the batteries it had were not good. Nothing. It did not work. Defective toy. Would not recommend.
