I grew up on this stuff living in South Carolina. I can still remember the stacks of firewood outside Maurice's original restaraunt in West Columbia. I've now lived all up and down the East Coast (VA, NC, and now in Florida) but I still had to go to South Carolina to get a case of this stuff every 6 months. Happy to see that I can now order it from Amazon. I like to put this on chicken (slow cooked on a grill for about 1 to 1.5 hours, and on pork shoulders (smoked for 24 hours). It is a perfect Southern BBQ sauce - tangy and slightly sweet.

I have always known about this product since 1967-68. Where I lived in Florida, they didn't sell it. The only time we could get it was when we went to our hunting camp in South Carolina. The first time tasting it, I was hooked.
