I am surprised that these work so well to protect from the dreaded thigh rub! I initially ordered a large (I am a 10/12) but found these stretched out a little after the initial wear and felt a bit loose. They also shifted around on my thigh and made me paranoid that I would not get the protection I was looking for. I decided to order a medium. That fit much better and they don't shift around at all. The lace is stretchy and comfortable and breathable. I'll continue to purchase these in the future as I am very pleased with them.

I love the Hanky Panky brand. Very pretty, and they are usually very consistent about sizing. This one, however, is different. I normally wear a large in HP, but these in 'large' are, well, Large! I had to re-order in a medium, which is perfect for me on these lace biker shorts. I plan to order more. I love them!
Comfy shorts for under skirts/dresses

I bought a few varieties of spandex shorts to wear under skirts in the summer and these were by far the best. They don't roll or bulge and the lace is really comfortable. They can be worn with or without underwear. $40 is a bit expensive but they're worth it, I bought 2 more. I wear a 14 but got the medium and they fit great.

Just what I was looking for! I know they're called "bike shorts" but these function best as a peekaboo under-layer for short dresses and skirts. The lace is comfortable, high-waisted, non-compression, and thin, though prob not designed for rigorous exercise.
I'm a curvy size 12. I bought the large and it was just too loose (to the point of almost falling down), so I ordered the medium and they fit great. (I'm keeping the large, because I like them well enough to have a backup pair - I may even order the white!). Only downside is the price ($$), but that's how it goes with Hanky Panky. If these shorts are anything like the many pairs of retro HP panties I have, they'll last for years. We'll see.
