i use these for a twice a day drink to keep my sodium up and they work well for that. there is a little debris left in the cup after. not sure what that is! but i have seem more debris in other brands, so this is not unique. i try to avoid drinking that. it works for what i need.

When l looked at the label, I saw it was a product of Guatemala and that it contained lots of MSG. Somehow it made me a bit skeptical, but this little cube carries a lot of good flavor. Ideal to perk up a dull, boring gravy. I like it and will keep it in my pantry.

Taste is good. I have used it to make soup and as a broth. Use 2 with a quart of water and your own seasonings for instant pot

I've used bouillon cubes in my cooking for over 60 years. I couldn't do without them! These are a good brand, and their flavor is spot on. What's not so spot on is the cube wrapping. These things are a PAIN to open! It has a red stripe that I presume is supposed to make them easy to open, but I can NEVER find the red stripe! They HID it under the wrapper! Boo Hoo!

If it wasn't for the impossible to find easy open string I'd give these 5 stars, but I'm settling on 4 stars purely because of the real difficulty in unwrapping the darned things! Oh, well... Maybe they will improve things and actually make these easy to open, and soon!

I have bought several bottles of these cubes, now labeled Member's Mark rather than Tone's. The labels wrapping the cubes in this most recent order had no BEEF indication (no matter there), but, more important, no little tab for easy unwrapping. One must scratch around to find the tab. That's a problem. I hope this change will be reversed/corrected in the future or no more Tones/Member's Mark.
