Not sure what to think, the reviews of this product might be fake. I'll update this when i know more.

Not so sure about the temperature, it sometimes tells me that my temperature is 87.3 fahrenheit, of course that was wrong, so i checked the book. The first thing I did was turn off that horrible loud voice, why not let the volume be adjusted so it is very low, and does not wake everybody in the house when someone uses it? So I turned the voice off, and that also turned off the beep to tell you your reading was taken, so you can pull it down from pointing at your forehead. So, let the user turn the volume down on the voice, as well as off, and keep the beep on, but at a much lower volume, or let that be adjusted as well. I checked the readings adjustment and it was set to body, so I am not sure why it was way off. i know that someone in a cold state would have very cool skin, even if their body temperature was elevated. So what should I have done to get a mre accurate reading? Or are many of the reviews for this product fake? That is a consideration.

Love this product! This has been one of the best investments I have made as a new mom. Being able to run this across my baby's forehead has made checking temperatures so much easier! The product is easy to use and accurate. I have checked it against my digital thermometer after a reading under the arm. Definitely a must have for parents with little ones.

My father was diagnosed with cancer and had to travel 3 hours away for his treatments. We were advised if his temperature ever went above normal to get him into emergency ASAP. We bought this thermometer if that unfortunate situation ever occurred. When the our worst nightmares were realized the thermometer was horrible. It never calibrated it didn't give us proper temperatures. We had multiple people try to calibrate it to get it to work properly, all to no avail. No one ever had success and after putting precious time into trying to get out to work, we abandoned it entirely. It was all very upsetting.
To make matters even worse, I just now learned that we are outside the return window. Horrible. If i could give it 0 stars I would. I would not recommend this product at all.

Have had this unit only a couple weeks, but so far all is good. It works as described and from what I can tell, is very accurate. It seems to be very well made, and is the same unit used in my primary care doctor's office. The storage case s a bonus; keeps the unit safe and clean. It's hard to believe how quickly it determines the temperature, whether body temp, room temp, or surface temp. The audible is clear and easily understood.

Nice Thermometer! I actually bought this because one of my friends is using it, and highly recommended. Very convenient to use and get the body temperature very fast. More helpful is that I was using it to monitor my little baby's temperature when she was sick, and I didn't have to wake her up. Just quick scanned the forehead, and get the result quickly and without extra noise making. By the way, I really like it comes with a handy box that I might have to bring it with me along to outside, and the box can protect from pushing over in the bag.
