Smells really good like a clean menthol scent and goes on even greater, I used to have dry skin under my facial hair and it would show if I wore dark clothes. You only need to apply this once every few days and it locks the moisture in. I always use this after a shower or regular face wash.

I like that this was much cheaper than most. It's a light oil which means you will need to use a few more drops than some of the heavy duty oils. It's effective at keeping a nice gleam to the beard. I thought this would smell more like lavender based on the description but, after application, it has a lemon-pie mixed with citronella bug repellent odor. I say this in a positive way because it also has a good earthy-tone to the smell so it's pleasant enough and not off-putting. If you prefer oils that contain a variety of different oils in the mix, for that reason, you can't go wrong.

My husband out of the blue decided to grow a full beard. Before this oil, he used real shea butter and I found that it was too thick which just created a yucky, greasy buildup. No bueno!! (Now that I think of it, perhaps he shouldve wet his beard and then apply the shea butter ah well) His beard also tended to be very rough and scratched my face. After several times using this beard oil I can see a major difference in his beard. For one, its more moisturized instead of dry (he also has psoriasis and the oil has helped dramatically in moisturizing that area). Also his beard just looks more groomed. I really don't know how many times per week he uses it- but when he does I can tell! This is coming from someone who does not like long beards at all. Also since the beard is softer, its not scratching up my face. In all, the product looks like it will last a long time. I might even try to find a use of it for myself.

Purchased this item for my first who is starting to grow a beard. With all the hype around beard kits, trimming, keeping your beard "tight" - I thought this would be a great product for him to try. Due to the North Eastern Weather - having a beard can cause skin irritation, and dry spots. He advised me the oil- firstly smelled really good, and he used it two times a day for a week. After a week he noticed a big difference in the texture of his beard. His beard was no longer "picky" or itchy and it had smoothed out. He said he has a lot less dryness under his beard, and it seems to be growning a bit. He doesn't have any spots on his beard that havn't grown - so he doesnt see anything different in that sense.

As a gentleman with a very thick, coarse, and long beard, I need to use beard oils/balms/combs/brushes/etc and I like experimenting with different brands. Honestly, I decided to buy this because of the price at first, thinking it was a good deal. This actually is really good quality beard oil. It contains a lot of ingredients that I've not seen from other brands before. My favorite part about it is the scent, which reminds me of grape seed oil but with a natural, woodsy twist. My beard feels great with it as well. I'd say this is right up there with the best beard oils I've used.
I would buy this again and recommend it at about the price it's currently listed as ($9.45). But the Amazon page states that regular price is $39.99... I definitely would NOT pay that much for ANY beard oil, but as long as the price remains under $15-20, this is still a good buy.
